Program  Qualification Pricing
Fix-it Cat Low Income citizens. 
Must have proof such as Medicaid, Unemployment, Welfare, SSI or 
tax returns showing income under $23,500.

Cost: $55

Feral Fix-it

Qualifications Needed: Trapped feral cats. Feral cats are born outside, are living in a wild state and are untouchable by humans. The only cats which qualify cannot be picked up or touched.

Program includes routine spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, ear tipping. 

Cost: $35

Grant-funded Programs
for Cats

Free spay/neuter and rabies vaccine for any cats (owned, stray or feral) from the following communities:

  • Bellmawr
  • Lindenwold
  • Cherry HIll
  • Gloucester Township (including Blackwood, Sicklerville, Glendora, Erial, Chews Landing, Hilltop, Blenheim, and Lambs Terrace)

Must provide proof of residency in one of the towns listed above. For feral cats, TNR trappers must provide a verifiable colony address within one of the towns listed above.

 
Fix Your Mommy
(Cats Only)
Entire litter of kittens must be accepted for intake and surrendered to the shelter. 
Spay fee for mother cat must be pre-paid at time of surrender. Kitten surrenders must be scheduled in advance through the shelter, and are dependent on space in the shelter as well as health and temperment of the kittens. Not all mother cats and litters will qualify for this program. Please contact adoptions@awanj.org for more information on our kitten surrender wait list process before scheduling your surgery appointment only.

$50 surrender fee plus $50 spay fee

SniPit

Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes ONLY. Vaccines are an additional $15. Includes: Routine spay or neuter surgery.

Cost: $55

Camden Program

Qualifications: Anyone residing in the City of Camden. Must show City of Camden proof of residence. 

Program includes routine spay/neuter surgery. Vaccines are an additonal $10.

Cost: $25

SPECIAL PROMOTIONS

 Happy Neuter Year  January 2014 only.  Appointment required.  $20 dog or cat neuter
Beat the Heat February 2014 only. Appointment required. $20 cat spay.
Primp Your Pit  August 2014 only.  Appointment required.  $20 pit bull spay/neuter.

Note that these programs and promotions apply to owned pets only, not shelter or rescue pets.
