ADOPT A HOMELESS PET!
It's Raining Cats & No Dogs at the Animal Welfare Association! We don't want to "drown" in furry felines so it's "Pay What You Want" for any cat six months or older! All kittens have a $50 adoption fee and if you adopt a kitten, you can adopt an adult cat for FREE. Now until August 31st.
All dogs, cats and rabbits are spayed or neutered and dogs and cats are vaccinated prior to adoption. A microchip and free registration on the 24 Petwatch national database is included in the adoption fee. Pets are also treated for fleas and dewormed, and dogs are Heartworm tested. Deworming and vaccinations, particularly for puppies or kittens, often involves a series of treatments that should be completed at the adoptive family’s veterinarian’s office.
Dogs and cats are enrolled in a pre-paid, one month pet insurance plan with Shelter Care pet insurance.
Free to a Great Home Adoption Program - The Free to a Great Home adoption program was introduced to help find homes for animals with certain age, health or behavior challenges by offsetting the cost of saving a life. This program allows you to assist the animals who are in the greatest need by waiving the cost of the adoption fee.
Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program - The Big Brothers/Big Sisters program allows adopters to take home two best friends for the price of only one! When you adopt a cat of any age, you can bring home a "big brother" or "big sister" (cats 1 year and older only) for free. This also applies to bonded pairs of rabbits and bonded small animals (This program excludes dogs and puppies).
