Attention Camden City Residents!
(For people residing in the city of Camden only)

The Animal Welfare Association’s Camden Project was developed to assist the pets of Camden City residents (must live in the city of Camden only).   

How much does the spay/neuter surgery cost?

The procedure costs $25, which includes vaccinations, if needed.

How much are vaccines?

The cost of vaccines are now INCLUDED in the cost of surgery.  If your pet just needs vaccines, they are $10 each.  Rabies vaccines are required by law for all dogs and cats older than twelve weeks of age.

Special note to dog owners:  “Distemper combo” vaccines for dogs protect against parvo (Parvovirus) which is a deadly disease and not uncommon in the City of Camden.  To keep your dog safe and healthy AWA’s veterinarian recommends revaccinating annually. 

How to make an appointment for spay or neuter surgery:

1. Call 856-424-2288 then dial extension 105.
2. You will get a voicemail recording or a receptionist.
3. Leave your contact information including the best time to call you back.
4. You will receive a return phone call to schedule your appointment, usually within 24-48 hours.
