AWA’s STEM Education Day is a FREE day of fun exploration for kids to learn about STEM in an animal welfare setting. Kids will hear from our Shelter Veterinarian, Manager of Behavior & Training and our Education Team.

This is a drop-off style event. Kids will learn about veterinary science and medicine, animal behavior, nutrition, engineering and design, and safe and unsafe plants for pets.

Hands on activities will help participants understand how STEM is used everyday in animal welfare and how they can be involved with this in the future!

Sessions are for grades K-12, so please register for the correct age group.
