I was having a hard time with my grief and my coworker asked me if I wanted 2 cats from her b/c she needed to get rid of them. I live with my mother in law so the cats had to stay in one room. I was told they were used to being locked in a room all day. His brother Ollie is listed above.

Pet’s Name: Ben

Breed: Lab/Australian Shepherd Mix

Age: 1-2 years

Gender: Male

About the pet: Ben is such a sweet boy with a huge personality.  He loves to spend time outside- following us on mountain bikes, playing ball outside, running the trails or playing at the dog park.  He makes it very difficult to leave for work in the morning when he gives you that look, hops up on the sofa and rests his chin in your lap as you're sipping your coffee.

Why are you re-homing your pet? We rescued Ben at 14 weeks and know very little about his past.  Ben is an anxious dog who can be defensive when he gets nervous. He truly is such a sweet boy!  However, with kids in our future and his unpredictable behavior, as much as it breaks our hearts, we feel as though it would be best to find Ben another home.

Pet’s Name: Snuggles

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Age: 9

Gender: Male

About the pet:  Snuggles is playful and an affectionate little love bug. When he wants your attention, he has a really cool meow that sounds like he's saying "hello"! He's neutered and has never sprayed or had any litterbox problems.

Why are you re-homing your pet?  He keeps attacking my smaller cat and we've had to keep him separated. He was brought into the home when we got custody of my soon to be stepson. We didn't know that he was going to have such an issue with other cats. He's fine with dogs, but as soon as he sees my cat just attacks. We thought time would fix the issue, but it hasn't.

Pet’s Name: Raja

Breed: Tabby Cat

Age: 3

Gender: Male

About the pet:   1- Extremely friendly- he will find you wherever you are, rub against your legs and talk to you constantly, shows so much love!
2- He is ok with a quiet night, laying on the foot of your bed while you relax but is just as ready for a energized night- always ready to play! Goes with the flow!

Why are you re-homing your pet?   My brother and sister-in-law moved across the country because of new job opportunities. Unfortunately they were not able to take Raja with them. It broke their hearts but the only choice was to leave him behind with me. I am barely home and don't feel like I'm giving this needy, loving little guy the amount of attention and care he deserves.

Pet’s Name: Roxy

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Age: 3

Gender: Female

About the pet: Roxy is a fun and loving cat born in Southern California. She is affectionate and likes to be near people. She enjoys playing with the laser light and string toys. She is a smaller cat and loves to be carried. She’s very talkative when you’re talking to her. She’s easy to manage; you can dress her up and cut her nails with no issue. Roxy is a little shy and will most likely hide when there are more than a few strangers around. She gets along with other pets and has never had an issue around kids. She doesn’t care for the outdoors and will not try to leave the house, although she may want a peek. She uses the litter box and scratches the cardboard scratchers.

Why are you re-homing your pet? Roxy needs more attention than we can give. She would do very well with a family and/or home with other pets. Roxy has begun chewing cords in the house, we suspect mostly due to attention (or lack of). We are concerned because we have a house FULL of electronics and we are worried about her safety if she were to chew on a high voltage cord. She has chewed about 6-10 cords in the last 2-3 years.

Pet’s Name: Nova

Breed: Domestic American Long hair

Age: 7.5

Gender: Female

About the pet:  She is very playful, talkative, and loves to be around you. Her yellow eyes make anyone melt. She wants to sleep next to you if you let her, and enjoys purring on your lap.

Why are you re-homing your pet? I travel often/work a lot and I cannot give her time and care anymore unfortunately. She is alone, bored, and lives indoors only. I feel like my not being home to care for her is causing her to scratch & lick herself compulsively. I cut her long hair to minimize from dander getting stuck on the base of her fur. This & more care helps tremendously.

Breed: Pit bull mix

Age: 7

Gender: Female

About the pet: Sinine is a beautiful, fun-loving, laid back girl. She is very loyal and loves spending time cuddling. Sinine is crate trained and gets along with other male dogs;however Sinine is older and prefers her male counterpart to be laid back like her. Sinine would do best in a quiet home where she can relax and spend time with her owner.

Why are you re-homing your pet? It is with a heavy heart that I'm needing to rehome my dogs; however my recent schedule change which has required a lot of traveling has not afforded me the time that she deserves. I feel it unjust to keep her when I know there is someone else who could provide her with the loving home and time she deserves.

Why are you re-homing your pet?  It is with a heavy heart that I am posting my dogs; however with my recent schedule change which has required a lot of traveling I haven't had the time he deserves. About the pet: Archie is the most positive, happy dog I've ever met. I love the way he loves going on runs with me, how eager (and quick!) he is to learn new tricks, and of course, his absolutely adorable face.

Why are you re-homing your pet? Archie is a family dog that would love nothing more than to have a kid or two to play with and a yard to run in. Unfortunately I cannot give him what he needs. I need to travel city to city to work and he is not meant for that life. All I want for him is to flourish and be in a place where he can be his goofy, happy, playful, mushy self.
