Paws and Feet 2020 Virtual FunDay FAQ

Questions about Paws & Feet 2020?

We’re here to help! Below you will find in depth answers to the questions that we receive the most. If your question remains unanswered after reading through our FAQs, please reach out to us!

What is Paws & Feet Virtual FunDay?

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made Paws and Feet a Virtual FunDay. By signing up, you’re a superhero who saves lives. That’s because every dollar raised goes toward helping pets right here in South Jersey.

How does it work?
Register for $30 and choose either Smile Mile or 3 Mile Stroll and receive a commemorative t-shirt.

Between now and May 30th, Walk For a Cause at your chosen distance and snap a picture!

Send your time as well as a photo to events@awanj.org.
-In your photo, be sure to hold up 1 finger or 3 fingers to show us the length of your walk.
-If your walk is with your pup or a friend be sure to include them in the photo!

Help us reach our adjusted goal of raising $20,000 for homeless pets in our community!

Whether you want to walk or simply donate, your support matters. Help us continue to make a difference in the life of every dog, cat and rabbit that come through our doors.

I've registered for Paws and Feet and created my personal fundraising page. How do I find my fundraising page and log back in?

To log into your personal fundraising page, please visit the Paws and Feet registration page and log in using the password you set when you created your page. Once you’re logged in, you will see a drop down menu in the upper right-hand corner of the page that says “Go to…” Click this and your campaign will drop down. Click your campaign to open it. You will be able to manage your fundraising page and make changes to it from there.

If I want to do the Smile Mile Walk with my dog, do I have to pay for them, too?

No, there is no registration fee for dogs! Please note: dogs must be leashed and up to date on vaccinations. If your dog is uncomfortable around crowds of people or other dogs, you can always bring them a Paws and Feet souvenir!

Can kids participate, too?

Of course!

How do I submit a check as a donation towards my fundraising campaign?

Donations can be made directly to your individual or team’s page online. Any checks collected should be made out to Animal Welfare Association and mailed or dropped off at Animal Welfare Association, Attn: Paws & Feet Doggie FunDay, 509 Centennial Blvd., Voorhees, NJ 08043. We will add all offline donations to your fundraising page once they have been processed. Be sure that your name as you’re registered is included on the memo line of each check.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes. Animal Welfare Association is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your Paws and Feet donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law*. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We’ll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.
