Kelly Mankovich

Kelly has been surrounded by animals her entire life, growing up with both dogs and cats and continuing to share her home with animals into adulthood. She has never been without a furry companion.

Her journey with AWA began 10 years ago as an Animal Care Attendant, where she was responsible for the daily care of all animals at the shelter. After six months, she transitioned into the role of Behavior Assistant, working closely with the Behavior Manager for several years to support the emotional and behavioral well-being of the animals.

Due to personal circumstances requiring a more flexible schedule, Kelly returned to her original role as an Animal Care Attendant. She later joined the Adoptions Team as an Adoption Counselor, a position she held until her recent promotion to Rehoming and Intake Specialist.

Kelly currently lives in Collingswood, NJ with her boyfriend, her sons, and their beloved cat, Friddles.
