AWA’s Corporate Partnerships

A SPECIAL THANKS TO OUR CORPORATE PARTNERS

AWA’s long-standing history as a regional leader and resource in animal welfare makes us a credible and dedicated community partner with whom local businesses and organizations can achieve meaningful community impact. Through shared values and activities that align with each of our partners’ own missions and philanthropic goals, AWA builds partnerships that will benefit the pets and people of South Jersey for years to come.

We extend a very special thank you to each of our corporate partners who work with us to make every life count. We encourage community members to patronize our valued sponsors.

Becoming an AWA year-round partner is a win-win situation for you as a community-minded business. Your company will receive benefits for AWA’s two signature events. And for premium partners, we would be pleased to work with you to customize a package based on the below options. AWA has a fresh approach to getting companies and corporations involved based on your company values.

Whether it’s Humane Education, enriching the lives of our community, or the health and well-being of animals, our packages are customizable, flexible, and have the most value for your investment.

As a long time sponsor of AWA, I am continually surprised at the new ways they develop to keep my products integrated with their own mission and how they present to the public. The programs and events they develop are fun, educational and give the public a sense of trust as the place to go to adopt animals. My products are always promoted at their events which are always well attended. I am proud to be associated with such a wonderful organization.

At Holman, we like to support what our employees care about – and they care deeply about the mission of the AWA. Our people have a natural concern for all who cannot speak or fight for themselves, and abused and abandoned animals are part of that tragic group. The AWA has been a source of support for these animals for over 70 years, and our employees recognize its long history, its excellent work, and its bright future. We are grateful to be able to call AWA a partner.

My experience with the Animal Welfare Association began on a personal level! With their simple open, non-judgmental adoption process, I was able to find & adopt my best “furiend” Luke Skywalker. But seeing all the other faces of dogs & cats who were still in the shelter and still in need of “furever” homes forced me to find a way to help them! That’s when a coworker and myself came up with a plan to get our company GEICO involved to raise awareness and donations to help AWA. I am so proud to be a sponsor for AWA’s annual Paws & Feet Event, now for 2 years in a row. This has created so much engagement within our office and our associates look forward to participating each year. Together we have formed a relationship that has grown over the last few years, and I can’t wait to see where it goes in the future!

When we were shopping around for a company to sponsor, we knew we’d made the right choice in South Jersey’s largest and oldest animal shelter—the benefits are outstanding, and whether participating in a service project, or when asking a customer to round up their purchase, our staff loves knowing that by working for Ravitz Family Markets, they’re helping AWA save lives.

Ken Brahl, Senior Director – Ravitz Family Markets

All my life I wanted to adopt a dog and when I move to Marlton for work, I had an opportunity to adopt. So I asked around and found about AWA. I decided to go to the AWA for my birthday in 2014 and we found our dog Chloe. After adopting her we heard about AWA’s annual Paws and Feet event and decided to walk the 5k and raise money for them as we love what the AWA is doing for animals. There was an opportunity to sponsor local organizations at our office and my coworker & I decided to get GEICO to sponsor the annual AWA Paws and Feet event. The event allows our employees raise awareness for homeless animals, raise money and volunteer at the event. The AWA is a wonderful organization with really dedicated staff like Sophia Barrett, who is always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have about AWA. We have sponsored the event for 2 years now and look forward to many more for the future.
