Animal Welfare Association buys five acres next to its shelter in Voorhees; no immediate plans to develop.

Although there are no immediate plans to expand, the nonprofit Animal Welfare Association has purchased five wooded acres next to its Voorhees building "to protect the environment around our shelter and to plan wisely for the future," the AWA reported.
