AWA’s STEM Education Day will be a fun day for kids to learn about and interact with STEM in the world of animal welfare.

Kids will rotate through different stations learning about topics like veterinary science and medicine, animal behavior, pet nutrition, and engineering and design. Hands on activities will help participants understand how STEM is used everyday in animal welfare and how they can be involved in the future!

This is a drop-off style event. Parents who wish to stay may sit in the lobby. There is not room to accompany kids to each station.

Sessions are for grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. If your child is older than 5th grade and still wishes to attend that is more than okay. However, please note that the content and activities will be geared more towards K-5th grade students.
