Can't Buy Me Love

Adoption fees are waived for pets with special needs or challenges, making it easier to give them the loving home they deserve.

Some animals face unique challenges in finding a forever home, whether due to age, medical history, or behavioral needs. To give these special pets the best chance at adoption, we waive their adoption fees. This helps adopters save on upfront costs, allowing them to focus on providing training, medical care, and the love these pets deserve as they settle into their new homes.

Can't Buy Me Love Eligibility

Animals of any age or species may qualify for our waived-fee adoption program.

Eligibility is determined by AWA’s Adoption and Medical staff based on factors such as:

Length of stay at AWA Adoption Center
Medical conditions or history
Age
Other considerations

Current Can't Buy Me Love Pets

The following animals have their adoption fees waived under the Can’t Buy Me Love program. If you wish to visit with them or adopt, please fill out an adoption application and come in to see them during our Adoption Center hours.

I’ve got a heart full of love and a goofy personality that will keep you smiling. I’m friendly, playful, and always up for belly rubs, fetch, or adventures. I may be grown, but I’ve got a puppy’s spirit and can’t wait to share it!
