Animal Welfare Association has joined NBCUniversal Local’s 11th annual Clear The Shelters pet adoption and donation day on 9/6 in partnership with NBC10 Philadelphia.

During this adoption event, adoption fees are waived for pets in our Can’t Buy Me Love program, making it easier to give them the loving home they deserve. Some animals face unique challenges in finding a forever home, whether due to age, medical history, or behavioral needs. To give these special pets the best chance at adoption, we waive their adoption fees. This helps adopters save on upfront costs, allowing them to focus on providing training, medical care, and the love these pets deserve as they settle into their new homes.
