Fun, Interactive Learning for Toddlers

Wags & Wiggles is a grown-up-and-me style class for children ages 2-4. This program will teach our littlest animal lovers about animal safety, kindness and compassion.

Each class will last 45 minutes and includes instructor-led storytime, a craft, and developmentally age-appropriate activities focused around creating our next generation of compassionate animal allies.

It’s never too early to encourage young animal lovers to learn about safety and how to treat all living things with kindness!

Educating a New Generation of Animal Lovers

Wags & Wiggles is a part of Animal Welfare Association’s growing roster of education programs designed to teach children in our community to understand and care for animals.

We believe providing fun, engaging activities promotes a deeper understanding and positive association with animals to children of all ages. Your little one will have such a blast playing and exploring they won’t even realize how much they’re learning!

Each Wags & Wiggles class will weave animal education into stories, activities, songs and more that children love, including:

Story Time

Our educator will read a fun story with underlying themes of animal safety, compassion and caring for pets.

Children will be led through creating a fun craft to take home after class.

Activity Time

Songs, rhymes, and other hands-on activities are fun and effective ways for children to learn new skills and ideas.

Wags & Wiggles FAQ

Can I bring multiple children to a class?
You can register multiple children for each class by purchasing a ticket for each child. Each registration is for one child and one adult.
Can multiple adults participate?
While we would love to allow more than one adult per child for this class, space does not allow for this. Each child should be accompanied by one adult. Additional adults may purchase a ticket to account for space or wait outside of the community room during the class.
What type of attire is appropriate?
Participants should wear comfortable clothing that is easy to sit, stand and move around in.
