The Camden County Pet Food Pantry, created by animal welfare organizations in the Animal Alliance of Camden County, intends to keep pets with their families by offering food assistance. Owners surrender pets to local shelters regularly, and financial hardship is a common reason for doing so. The Alliance seeks to help Camden County residents keep pets in their homes by providing nutritional assistance to those in need. The only requirement is a need for assistance in providing food for a pet.
AWA’s Pet Food Pantry will be held during the COVID-19 pandemic daily in bins outside of the temporary Clinic Trailer. Donations can be dropped off in the bins outside of the Clinic Building which is where the temporary shelter is being housed.
